I have been asked frequently about my gear, so I thought I'd start out with a listing of the stuff of which my tone-dreams are made of.

Heritage guitar

The guitars that I play are pretty much stock. They consist of
1) A Heritage H575 ASB strung with D'Addario 11- 49's

Gibson '78 custom

2) A Gibson Les Paul custom also strung w/ D'Addario 11's

The signal then goes in to my pedal board which kind of goes like this:

Gibson '78 custom
Ernie Ball Volume pedal + Rocktron, Austin Gold overdrive + Ibanez TS9 Tubescreamer + vintage Boss Analog Delay + Homemade A/B , A+B switch where the signal can be sent to either or both amps.

The amps I use primarily live are:

Vox AC30

A) 1962 Vox AC30 with Celestion greenback 30 watt 12" speakers. This model has the top boost modification mounted on the back. This amp does it all except the vibrato channel is wimpy. Which is why the A/B box goes to...

'74 Princeton amp

B) 1964 Fender Black-face Princeton, it is the transition model with the white knobs and 12’ speaker. The tremolo on this amp is , how you say... like butter. I usually run this with an External speaker cabinet made by Tubeworks. It is open-backed and mounted with old Altec - Lansing 12".

Some other things worth mention are My Fender Resophonic (Dobro-ish) guitar which is set up for lap-style only.

'74 Princeton amp

My Alvarez / K. Yairi DY 45 N (1985) Flat top,

'74 Princeton amp

And a Lanikai soprano Ukelele My kids got me for father's day.

'74 Princeton amp

Hope to use this on a recording soon...
